6.1.07 It's the first day of June! Well anyways, welcome newcomers! This site is fairly new, so it doesn't have much activity at the moment. Anyways, the site will have some changes here and there as you view the site, so don't be surprised.

Oh, and for now, everyone, please don't constantly go to the Temple of Trial board to roleplay for powers for every fox you create. Pretty please? It's supposed to be a place in a very very dark, deadly forest where the temple is difficult to locate and creatures are easily lost. And even inside the temple, the trial is supposed to be a life or death kind of thing, ya know? If every fox had powers, then it wouldn't be quite special.
The Story

Luirai: Fox RP site

Luirai, a gargantuan land where the main creatures-- foxes-- inhabit within tribes or seclusion. Chaos Bane, an ancient war so long ago in this land, now erodes from history. The war was fought by the first three fox tribes-- the Ancient Tribes: Takesi the elemental tribe, Xanadu the Sky Tribe, and the secluded Baine Tribe, which many thought were simply death bringers, searching for blood and destruction to wherever they may wander. No ending has been reminisced, and no single creature seems to hold the knowledge on the end of Chaos Bane.

Now in what is the present, Takesi has taken to the many elemental tribes dotting Luirai. Xanadu is now referred to as the Lost Tribe, for it is thought to have been wiped from being in the bloodshed of Chaos Bane. The purpose of Chaos Bane has long escaped memory, and thus has been looked upon as a shrouded enigma. Even so, the question still overhangs. What was the purpose of Chaos Bane? Why did it start? What had happened?

After many centuries Luirai has fallen into a tranquility, the Ancient Tribes have divided into six fox tribes: Jaslym, Undani, Kanatari, Faize, Syphiria, and Arcda. They live in a compromise, bearing no grudge from that shrouded war, remaining in their territories in Luirai unless willing to upset this pact. Which tribe shall you pledge loyalty to? Or perhaps you will wander the Outlands, belonging only to solitude– or rise to a power which many fear, use it to set another war upon these lands...

A couple goes to an agricultural show way out in the countryside on a fine Sunday afternoon, and are watching the auctioning off of reproduction bulls. The guy selling the bulls announces the first bull to be auctioned off: "A fine specimen, this bull reproduced 60 times last year."

The wife nudges her husband in the ribs, and comments: "See! That was more

than 5 times a month!"

The second bull is to be sold: "Another fine specimen, this wonder reproduced 120 times last year."

Again the wife bugs her husband: "Hey, that's some 10 times a month. What do

YOU say to that?!"

Her husband is getting really annoyed with this comparison... The third bull is up for sale: "And this extraordinary specimen reproduced 360 times last year!"

The wife slaps her husband on the arm and yells: "That's once a day, every day of the year! How about YOU?!"

The husband was pretty irritated by now, and yells back: "Sure, once a day! But

ask the announcer if they were all with the same cow!!!"

Maria just got married and being a traditional Italian she was still a virgin and very inexperienced around men. So, on her wedding night, while staying at her mother's house, she was nervous. But her mother reassured her. Don't worry Maria,' says the mother. 'Tony's a good man. Go upstairs and he'll take care of you.'

So up she went. When she got upstairs, Tony took off his shirt and exposed
his hairy chest. Maria ran downstairs to her mother and says, 'Mama, Mama, Tony's got a big hairy chest.' 'Don't worry, Maria,' says his mother. 'All good men have hairy chests. Go upstairs. He'll take good care of you.'

So up she went again. When she got up in the bedroom, Tony took off his
pants exposing his hairy legs. Again Maria ran downstairs to her mother. 'Mama, Mama, Tony took off his pants and he's got hairy legs.'
'Don't worry Maria. All good men have hairy legs. Tony's a good man. Go upstairs and he'll take good care of you.

'So, up she went again. When she got up there, Tony took off his socks, and on his left foot he was missing the better part of three toes. When Maria saw this, she ran downstairs.

'Mama, Mama, Tony's got a foot-and-a-half.'

'Stay here and stir the pasta,' says the mother.

'This is a job for Mama!'

Concerned about her relationship, a woman approaches her doctor and says, "Doc, I'm getting married this weekend and my fiance thinks I'm a virgin & I'm not! Is there anything you can do to help me?"

The doctor says, "Medically, no, but here's something you can try. On the wedding night, when you're getting ready for bed, take an elastic band and slide it to your upper thigh. When your husband puts it in, snap the elastic band and tell him it's your virginity snapping."

The woman loves this idea and knows her hubby will fall for this. They have a beautiful wedding and retire to the honeymoon suite. The wife gets ready for bed in the bathroom, slips the elastic band up her leg, finishes preparing and climbs into bed with her man.

Things begin to progress - her hubby "slips it in" and just then she snaps the elastic band. The hubby asks, "What the heck was that?"

The wife explains, "Oh nothing honey, that was just my virginity snapping."

The husband cries out, "Well snap it again, it's got my balls!"

Jake was on his deathbed while his wife, Becky, maintained a steady vigil by his side. As she held his fragile hand, her warm tears ran silently down her face, splashed onto his, and roused him from his slumber. He looked up and his pale lips began to quiver with sound.

"My darling Becky," he whispered.

"Hush, my love," she said. "Go back to sleep Shhh! Don't talk."

But he was insistent. "Becky," he said in his tired voice. "I have to talk. I have something I must confess to you."

"There's nothing to confess," replied the weeping Becky. "It's all right. Everything's all right, go to sleep now."

"No, no. I must die in peace, Becky. I slept with your sister, your best friend and our next door neighbor."

Becky mustered a pained smile and stroked his hand. "Hush now Jake, don't torment yourself. I know all about it," she said. "Why do you think I poisoned you?"

My cooking has always been the target of family jokes. One evening, as I prepared dinner a bit too quickly, the kitchen filled with smoke and the smoke detector went off. Although both of my children had received fire-safety training at school, they did not respond to the alarm. Annoyed, I stormed through the house in search of them.

¡¡¡¡I found them in the bathroom, washing their hands. Over the loud buzzing of the smoke alarm, I asked them to identify the sound.

¡¡¡¡"It's the smoke detector," they replied in unison.

¡¡¡¡"Do you know what that sound means?" I demanded.

¡¡¡¡"Sure," my oldest replied. "Dinner's ready."

A friend of mine noticed a man staggering about in the Times Square subway station. A well-dressed Wall Street type, his coat was unbuttoned, a briefcase dangled from his hand and he'd obviously had one too many.

¡¡¡¡Asked if he was all right, the man gave a slurred but affirmative response. However, my friend simply could not see someone brave the rough maw of a New York subway without trying to help. He followed the chap, and again asked, "Are you sure you're all right? What subway are you looking for? Do you need help getting home?"

¡¡¡¡At last, the object of his attentions snarled, in a low voice, "Leave me alone! I'm an undercover cop!"

Silent night
Holy night
Snowfall on this Christmas sight
Love all around
As we sing our Christmas cheer
Sit around the tree
Hands held high
As the wind whispers a gentle Christmas sigh
Gentle twinkling scattered about it¡¯s branches
Snow gently falls
We lift our faces to the sky
Faces shine in a rosy glow
Around and around we go
Spinning twirling swirling in the snow
The world is at peace tonight
As love glows in a romantic¡¯s eye
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Forget all the world
Be at peace tonight
Let the warmth of the time fill you
Snow fall covers all
Have a happy Christmas all

Ron was a fifteen-year-old teenager, wow power leveling,a tenth-grade student at Granger High School. It was game day, and he was the only sophomore suiting up with the varsity team. Excitedly, he invited his mother to attend. It was her very first football game, and she promised to be there with several of her friends. wow power leveling,The game finally ended, and she was waiting outside the locker room to drive Ron home.

"What did you think of the game, Mom? Did you see the three touchdown passes our team made and our tough defense, and the fumble on the kickoff return that we recovered?" he asked.

His mother replied, "Ron, you were magnificent.wow power leveling, You have such presence, and I was proud of the pride you took in the way you looked. You pulled up your knee socks eleven times during the game, and I could tell you were perspiring in all those bulky pads because you got eight drinks and splashed water on your face twice. "Mom, how do you know all that? And how can you say I was magnificent?wow gold, I didn't even play in the game."
His mother smiled and hugged him. "Ron, I don't know anything about football. wow gold,I didn't come here to watch the game. I came here to watch you!"

 Love Notes
« Result #10 on Mar 4, 2009, 2:32am »

From the time each of my children started school, wow power leveling,I packed their lunches. And in each lunch I packed, I included a note. Often written on a napkin, the note might be a thank you for a special moment, a reminder of something we were happily anticipating, or a bit of encouragement for an upcoming test or sporting event.
In early grade school they loved their notes-they commented on them after school, and when I went back to teaching, wow power leveling, they even put notes in my lunches. But as kids grow older they become self?conscious, and by the time he reached high school, my older son, Marc, informed me he no longer needed my daily missives. Informing him that they had been written as much for me as for him, and that he no longer needed to read them but I still needed to write them, I continued the tradition until the day he graduated.

Six years after high school graduation, Marc called and asked if he could move home for a couple of months. He had spent those years well, graduating Phi Beta Kappa magna cum laude from college, completing two congressional internships in Washington, wow power leveling,D.C., winning the Jesse Marvin Unruh Fellowship to the California State Legislature, and finally, becoming a legislative assistant in Sacramento. Other than short vacation visits, however, he had lived away from home. With his younger sister leaving for college, I was especially thrilled to have Marc coming home.

A couple weeks after Marc arrived home to rest, regroup and write for a while, he was back at work-he had been recruited to do campaign work. Since I was still making lunch every day for his younger brother, wow gold,I packed one for Marc, too. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from my 24?year?old son, complaining about his lunch.

"Did I do something wrong? Aren't I still your kid? Don't you love me any more, wow gold,Mom?" were just a few of the queries he threw at me as I laughingly asked him what was wrong.

"My note, Mom," he answered. "Where's my note?"

This year my youngest son will be a senior in high school. He, too, has now announced that he is too old for notes. But like his older brother and sister before him,wow gold,he will receive those notes till the day he graduates-and in whatever lunches I pack for him afterwards.
